2010 Traffic Deaths Down Over 2009

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is crediting safety upgrades education and increased enforcement for lowering the number of highway deaths so far this year. 

Just ahead of the Labor Day holiday NDHP says that 59 people have died so far this year compared to 92 in 2009. 

The NDHP says that motorist still need to be cautious during the last heavy-travel weekend of the summer.
